Make Christmas Special Toy Appeal

10th November 2022

As the bells ring out for Christmas there can be little joy in some households where circumstances mean there are no presents and no Christmas spirit.  In previous years the Toy Appeal has helped over 600 local children to have a happy Christmas and our aim is to ensure every family experience the joy of Christmas.

The Make Christmas Special Toy Appeal is a wonderful opportunity for Church and Community to work together to bring a smile to the face of a child this Christmas.    We believe that every child deserves to experience the Joy of Christmas.  We provide toys to children, regardless of race, religion and gender, as long as they are referred via a social worker, a school, a food bank or a women’s refuge.  There’s lots to do, and this year we think the need will be greater than ever so we need your help!

There are a couple of ways that you can help:

If you live locally, when you go Christmas shopping you can buy a toy for a child who would otherwise not receive a present and drop it off at one of the collection points.

Or you can make a donation via to Just Giving ACTS of KINDNESS and we will buy toys or gift vouchers.

For further details of collection points email [email protected]

Without your support the Make Christmas Special Toy Appeal cannot happen so please help us bring a little hope and happiness to local families living in desperate need, so that they can have presents to wake up to on Christmas morning.
